I am currently hearing lots of debate from other schools about whether or not Christmas cards should be allowed in the current climate. We all believe that Christmas cards are a really important traditional way to share the Christmas message, and …...…. they encourage pupils to write for a real reason! Therefore we have sought a way to make this happen. If your child would like to give out Christmas cards please ensure that they are brought in by the 8th December.
They should be clearly marked with the recipient’s name and class. They will then go into the ‘bubble Christmas Card Quarantine Post-box’ which will be opened by a team of elves on the 11th December.
Our hand sanitised elves will sort and deliver the quarantined cards in bags, to classes for the teacher to give out at the end of the day.
We think this covers all eventualities and means that this important tradition can continue!
