Mother and Child

An exploration through colour.

Our art focus throughout Term 2 has been the exploration of colour.

Our children have been introduced to a wide range of media including paint, inks, pastels, batik/tie dye, fabric crayons and “Brusho” crystal colour.

 

Children have also been given the opportunity to use a selection of tools to apply colour to the fabric - enjoying using brushes, sponges, straws, twigs, plastic knives and fingers to create various effects. This has been part of the developmental process in the journey to creating these beautiful wall hangings.
