Our School

Lydd Primary School was founded in the small historic town of Lydd on the Romney Marsh in 1895.  The school is situated next to the Rype, this is a large expanse of open grassland given by King Offa in 774.

 

The school has always been considered to be an important part of the local community, an aspect the current Head Teacher and staff feel important to continue through community links.
