Young Voices 2023

45 children from Lydd Primary School dedicated their time and voices to sing and be part of the largest school choir in the world. It was our first time attending Young Voices, for some their first time at the O2, experiencing a wonderful musical enriching day!

 

We enjoyed listening and being inspired by singer Heather Small, violinist Anna Phoebe and The Beatbox Collective.

 

Heather Small -  British soul singer and former lead vocalist of the band M People. Her subsequent debut solo studio album, Proud, was released in 2000.

 

Anna Phoebe - extraordinary violinist, composer and broadcaster –     joined the Young Voices tour. She began playing violin at the age of 7 and has since performed with artists including Roxy Music, Jay-Z, Beyoncé and George Michael.

 

The Beatbox Collective - Formed in 2011 at Shambala Festival, they have achieved global recognition and have had headline performances at the World B-Boy Championships, World DMC Championships, Humanbeatbox Festival, Secret Walls and End of the Weak World Finals.
