Forest School

Our plaque has arrived!

We applied for a grant from the Tree Council with the Orchards for Schools programme and over the past few months, have received 5 broadleaf trees, 5 fruit trees and 150 hedgerow whips to plant; to enhance our outdoor space. The trees are now planted in our new orchard area, with hedging growing nicely around the border, and the rest of the hedging is gradually being planted around the KS1 playground by the year 6 Forest School Group. Our outside area is really growing nicely and we couldn't be more thrilled, and now we have a plaque to celebrate!

Welcome to Blossom Tree Forest School!

Our Forest School Leaders are Miss Callis, Mrs Redshaw and Ms Rodriguez. We have been working behind the scenes over the past year with some super, young pioneers, to get our forest school up and running. We are delighted that we have now officially opened our forest school club and our year 6's are enjoying clearing, weeding, pond-dipping, building, observing and exploring. We look forward to our first campfire in the final week of this half term!

Take a look at some clips taken by our fab wildlife camera!
